Job Description

Job Title: Accounts Manager

Location: Byculla

Responsibilities: Accounts Administration:

Administer accounts payable and accountsreceivable processes. Ensure accurate recording of all daily transactions.

Handle petty cash and book entries inaccordance with expenses. Post purchase orders (PO) and process invoices efficiently.

Financial Record-keeping:

Prepare payment requestfiles. Perform bank reconciliations.

Manage salary accounting and maintainaccurate records. Execute General Journal Voucher (GJV) accounting.

Donation reconciliation

Expense Management:

Account for supplies and track consumption of foodand non-food items. Reconcile vendor ledgers with vendor books.

Handle month-end prepaid and provision entries.

Month-End Processes:

Execute month-end closings. Prepare monthlyfinancial statements and conduct account analysis.

Inventory and Stock Management:

Coordinate inventory runs. Conduct month-end physical stock verification and analyze variances.

Financial Reporting:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annualfinancial reports. Participate actively in financial audits.

Preparing fund utilization certificate for donor

Documentation and Policy Compliance:

Maintain meticulous documentation and records.

Assist in budget preparation and ensure adherenceto financial policies.

Systems Management:

Update internal systems with financial data. Provide support toHR in payroll administration.

Financial Analysis and Support:

Respond to financial queries by gathering,analyzing, and interpreting data.

Study operational issues, apply financialprinciples, and develop recommendations.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance,or a related field. Proven experience in a senior accounting role.

In-depth knowledge of accountingprinciples and practices. Proficiency inaccounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Additional Requirements:

Strong analytical andproblem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with a highlevel of accuracy.

Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-pacedenvironment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
