POSITION: Fundraising Manager
LOCATION: Mumbai
Job Description
• Identifying and reach out to potential funding partnersthrough cold calling, cold emailing, conferences/events
• Writing customized proposals for grant-making organizations/CSRsand managing the submission and contracting processes
• Studying requests for proposal (RFPs) and preparing customizedproposals by gathering information and data, drafting, obtaining feedback/approvals, and ensuring timely submission
• Build and nurture relationships with existing donors, providing regularupdates on our programs and the impact of their contributions.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, fundraising best practices, and regulatory requirements related to charitable giving.
Competencies
• Donor relationship management/business development and consultative sales
• Establish and grow partnerships, and effective planning skills to meetfundraising targets
• High quality written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skillsand networking skills
Key Requirements
• 5-6 years’ prior experience in a B2B sales or fundraising role that involves high empathy/service levels to clients, supporters or the community.
• Passionate about NGO’s vision and values and genuine desire to improvethe situation of our community.
• Experience in researching, analyzing and coordinating information anddata and preparing high-quality communication.
